HCC – Drilling Training Center Northeast

The Houston community College (HCC) has undertaken an initiative to train and prepare technicians needed to work on the offshore rigs. The specific areas of interest have been identified by the industry to respond to this need. HCC retained the services of L-DS to develop the HCC Drilling Training Center Program at the Northeast Campus.

Two on-campus locations were reviewed (a 2-acre and a 7-acre site) for its location and site size. The larger site was preferred and approved by the HCC Administration.
