In the Fall of 2017, the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) presented the Silver Design Award in the Special Projects category for the Holman Street Improvements project located in Midtown, Houston. Working with a large team, L-DS played a key role as the lead urban designer for the Holman Street improvements adjacent to the Houston Community College Central Campus and the historic San Jacinto Memorial Green that forms the foreground of the century-old San Jacinto Building.
