Process Overview
We view programming and program development as the basic foundation of any building process. How do you know how to evaluate the scope of the project, assess its expectations, or measure its degree of success at both the design phase and the final product? We start with a simple framework - “Problem Identification” - that guides the development of the project. Elemental issues in a program that are addressed include:
  • The Mission, Vision and Goals of the program
  • The units of the measure of activity and service that drive the quantification of space
  • The functional issues
  • The physical and performance guidelines
  • The expectations of the operational and maintenance performance
  • The performance guidelines that state the expectations with regard to the contributory environmental impact
  • The concepts regarding the organizational structure of the services and how these would be reflected in the end product
  • The desirable characteristics of the end
  • Financial feasibility
